Designed to suit spinning reels, each transparent 1-piece fibreglass rod measures 1.5 m — an ideal length that’s lightweight, easy to control, and perfect for helping kids learn to cast with confidence. The fibreglass construction provides excellent durability and strength. A moderate action with medium power offers a forgiving yet responsive experience that helps children detect bites and land fish smoothly, while quality guides ensure consistent line flow and reduced friction. The rod features a fun green LED light powered by 2 × AAA batteries for extra visibility and excitement, supports lure weights up to 80 g, and is finished with a comfortable camouflage grip available in green, blue, or red to suit every young adventurer’s style.

Our kids’ spinning reels are perfectly matched to young anglers who want gear that’s easy to use but still performs like real fishing equipment. Built in a versatile 1500 size, each reel delivers smooth operation with a minimum of 4 ball bearings and a balanced 5.2:1 gear ratio, making retrieves simple and consistent for beginners learning proper technique. With a minimum drag power of 6 kg, the reel has plenty of strength to handle strong fish while still being manageable for small hands, and the spool capacity holds at least 120 m of 0.17 mm line for versatile fishing situations. Designed to be both functional and fun, the reels come in bright Pink, Blue, or Multicoloured options that kids love, combining reliable performance with eye-catching style to keep young fishers engaged and confident on the water.
Fishing Line
Our kids’ fishing line is a strong, reliable 9.5 lb fluorocarbon line designed to make fishing easier and more successful for young anglers. Available in Camouflage Green, Mottled Blue, or Pink, it adds a fun personalised touch while still delivering serious performance on the water. Fluorocarbon naturally sinks, helping lures stay at the right depth and improving bite detection compared to floating monofilament, and it offers excellent abrasion resistance and strength so it can handle rough conditions and enthusiastic use. It’s also easier for beginners to tie secure knots than many braided lines, while remaining less visible underwater than traditional monofilament, giving kids a better chance of hooking fish. The result is a tough, user-friendly line that combines durability, stealth, and simple handling — perfect for building confidence and success from the very first cast.
